Long travel days can really take a toll on your skin due to dry airplane air, stress, and irregular routines. Here's how to refresh your skin during and after travel:

During Travel:

  1. Hydrate Inside & Out

    • Drink water regularly – aim for a glass every hour.

    • Use a hydrating facial mist with ingredients like rose water, aloe vera, or hyaluronic acid to keep skin plump.

  2. Apply Moisturizer Frequently

    • Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to prevent dryness and flaking.

  3. Use a Lip Balm & Eye Cream

    • Cabin air is drying, so protect these delicate areas with nourishing products.

  4. Avoid Heavy Makeup

    • Opt for a tinted moisturizer or go makeup-free to let your skin breathe.

  5. Use Hand Cream and SPF

    • UV rays can still penetrate plane windows. Use a lightweight SPF, especially if you have a window seat.

After Travel:

  1. Double Cleanse

    • Use an oil-based cleanser followed by a gentle water-based one to remove dirt, makeup, and environmental stressors.

  2. Use a Hydrating Sheet Mask or Overnight Mask

    • Look for masks with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or ceramides.

  3. Apply a Vitamin C Serum

    • Helps brighten skin and fight oxidative stress from travel.

  4. Exfoliate (Gently!)

    • A gentle exfoliant (like lactic acid or an enzyme peel) can remove dead skin cells and revive dullness.

  5. Sleep & Stay Hydrated

    • Rest is crucial. Your skin regenerates while you sleep.
