Cooking ribs in the oven is actually pretty easy — and they turn out super tender! Here’s a simple method:

Ingredients:

  • Rack of pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

  • Your favorite dry rub (or just salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder)

  • Barbecue sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the ribs:

    • Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) — low and slow is key.

    • Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (if it’s still on) for extra tenderness.

    • Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  2. Season:

    • Generously coat both sides of the ribs with your dry rub.

    • Let them sit for about 10–15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  3. Wrap and bake:

    • Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil.

    • Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil (you can also individually wrap them) to trap the moisture.

    • Bake in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until they’re fork-tender.

  4. Finish (optional but delicious):

    • Uncover the ribs and brush them with barbecue sauce.

    • Turn the oven to broil and broil the ribs for 3–5 minutes until the sauce gets bubbly and slightly caramelized. Keep a close eye so they don't burn!

  5. Rest and serve:

    • Let the ribs rest for about 5–10 minutes before cutting into them.

    • Slice and enjoy!
